-------------South Africa: Passport to business Travel in Africa7 August 2007found at Biz-Community (Cape Town) Future Publishing this month launches the African edition of Business Traveller, which has an international track record of more than 30 years, to the South African travel market. It will be co-edited by Janet Fourie and Jeremy Maggs. With business travel in South Africa allegedly representing 90% of domestic and African travel expenditure, Future Publishing will address this demand by tailoring its content accordingly. Each edition of the Business Traveller will cover the three essential elements of business travel, these being: knowing what is important; spending what is essential; and avoiding the unnecessary. Other information to look forward to in each issue includes: airline news, hotel developments, loyalty programmes, car rental information, reports on flights and hotels, luggage features, destinations, golfing, new gadgets, information on African countries, special travel deals available, recreation and leisure activities, as well as topical issues such as health, fitness, and security content. The magazine will be published monthly, with the December/January issue being combined, and the initial print run is pegged at 10 000 copies. It will be distributed through corporate hotels (chains and independents), business travel lounges (airports and intercontinental), clients of corporate travel management companies, business air charter companies and at various exhibitions. Other Future Publishing titles include The South African Magazine, Travel, SA Inbound, Avante, Property Professional Magazine and Vision. |
